Helen Collins must stay
I am writing to you on behalf of City Councilwoman Helen Collins,
serving District 4 of Colorado Springs.
While I realize that some of you may not live within her district or
even within the city of Colorado Springs, I guess that many of you know
people who do live here. Please accept my plea to spread the word about
the good intent of this dedicated and honest civil servant, and ask
informed voters to cast their vote in the April 2015 election.
Helen Collins is a retired decorated Navy veteran. During her 20-year

The opposition behind the effort to recall Ms. Collins is not telling
the rest of the story. They argue that Ms. Collins is not representing
the people of her district. One of their objections is that Ms. Collins
did not speak for residents in her area who sought to impose a "fee" or
tax for the driven "rain-tax" agenda. The truth of the matter is
sixteen (16) of the seventeen (17) precincts in Ms. Collins' district
voted against Issue 1B - the referendum to apply a "fee" or "tax" for a

Family and friends, please let people know that without keeping Helen
Collins on the City Council, Colorado Springs will slip further into
the ocean of slimy waters saturating the rest of this country. Read Ms.
